The Elder Scrolls Online: Season Zero Dawn and Dusk

Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk is the first-ever “Season” released for The Elder Scrolls Online, launching on April 2, 2026. It marks a structural shift away from ESO’s traditional annual Chapter model toward shorter, roughly 90‑day Seasons, with all core gameplay content included for free for anyone who owns the base game. Thematically, “Dawn and Dusk” represents a transitional age for ESO—both narratively and mechanically—setting the stage for future experimental content while modernizing long‑requested systems It centers on a limited‑time Event Zone called The Night Market, located in the Oblivion realm of Fargrave. Within the Night Market: Players pledge allegiance to one of three unique factions Each faction offers a series of challenging PvE encounters Progression through the event rewards players with a free player home, Night’s Den. The Night Market is framed as a dangerous, ever‑shifting crossroads of Daedric influence rather than a permanent open‑world zone, reinforcing the “dusk” side of the season’s theme.
